Science and Religion Group

“Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind.” Albert Einstein

Science and religion are often concerned with similar issues yet approach them from very different positions. In these monthly groups we will be exploring some of the key contemporary debates in which science and religion are actively engaged. Through study, listening and speaking we will explore together the challenges that science and religion bring to our society and its varied responses to the rapid developments we are living through. Our aim is to increase our knowledge and explore our various views in a respectful and thoughtful way. Engagement groups are less about discussion and more about building good relationships with one another, particularly when we might hold opposing views. They create a safe space in which to explore.
